Dear Dr. Quigley:

We have at this writing received a few copies of Tragedy & Hope from the binder and I hope to have the rest of them by the end of the week or it will be a tragedy. I expect to be in Washington later this month and at that time can personally transmit the second check to you.

You will probably find the enclosed item from South Africa of interest, since your name is used. As you are aware, the present Nationalist government there has formed an alliance with the big money people, is trying to deliver Rhodesia into their hands, and moving toward a condition euphemistically called “multi-racialism,” which is better described as anarchy, as all Bostonians know.

It is looking more likely each day that Mr. Rockefeller and his friends will shortly have us into another war. This time, they are not hardly bothering to disguise their aggressive intentions, which, I suppose, is an improvement of sorts….
